Artee helped with the chili, Brent brought spicy cornbread and hummus with pita chips, Sarah brought cheese bread, and the Vandervorts brought a salami and cheese board. Yum.
Tom wanted hot dogs to accompany his chili, so we fired up the Hot Dog Roller and slapped on a pack of Nathan's.
Here is my version of a low-carb chili dog, with cheddar cheese, sour cream, cilantro, scallions, hot sauce, and jalapeños. (Sorry for the slightly risqué look...)
We made dessert in the form of the stars of the documentary, polar bears and their unfortunate prey, baby seals. The dessert was made with Little Debbie Rolls, iced and rolled in coconut, then decorated.
We capped off the night with Hot Cocoa with Bailey's or Peppermint Schnapps, or both. This lulled everyone into a sleepy trance, some of us with our hot cocoa still in hand (me).
